Not too long ago, feminists stood against porn and other vices, showing that these were extremely disrespectful and degrading towards women.

But now, some of today’s so-called feminists are calling themselves “proud sluts” and taking pictures of themselves naked, and protesting with barely any clothes, displaying that they don’t care about morals. 

What the heck happened?

Yeah I don’t think you get feminism at all.

Feminism is about doing what YOU WANT with your body and life.

Some forms of porn really need to be fixed because the porn industry DOES treat women like shit. However, a woman freely taking nude photos of herself and posting them on her own is 100% within feminism.

A feminist is “an advocate or supporter of the rights and equality of women”, according to the Oxford English Dictionary. But when you take nude pictures of yourself and call yourself a slut, you’re saying you’re no better than a sexual tool. How is that equality?

lol apparently reducing yourself to nothing to a piece of meat for others to stare at and objectify is “empowering yourself.”

i consider myself feminist and i think that that line of thinking damages feminism. EDIT: i’ll explain: the whole point of feminism is that women should be seen as MORE than our sexuality. we should be seen for our minds, our personalities our creativity. those are the most important things about us. we are smart and capable, we are people, not sexual objects or toys. for a woman to display herself as nothing more than an object is contrary to feminism. there’s no way that’s “feminist.”
